The beggining of our World

_It was a long time ago, but still, so little and so much have changed since then. The races were already in this stupid unstopable war. Every move, every fear was enough reason to start a battle between races. If they could only realize that together they are so much more powerful.
It was back then that they met...

Maya´s words were making reality melt away. I could see where her mind was, and past that, I could see much more than she did, for not only I could picture the story she'd been told, I could see the real story through my powers, making it so much more real and truthful.

Leo was one of the best soldiers in the human army. He was dedicated, fast, and very strong. He had more than 10 different merit badges, and he was only 17. He had a short brown hair, always in a messy do. His eyes were deep green, and he was in perfect shape for his 6´2".
He was out in the woods, doing his usual work out by himself, when he caught sight of a girl. It is hard to describe what happened when he met the deep brown eyes of that girl. The closest you can get to an explanation is love at first sight, but still it isn't strong enough to describe it.
The girl, an elf, was the best archer of the local elf army. Sam was delicate, agile and very, very precise. She was the youngest elf on the elite troup, only 16. Long light brown wavy hair, 5´5", she was in very good shape too. And she was also struck with this deep connection with this strange boy.
The differences between them were so small, that neither realized that they belonged to different races.
Leo aproached the girl with as much carefulness he could. He had never seen someone like her, and his heart was beating faster than he could explain.
_Hello. -He said is his husky deep voice.
_Hi. - She answered just as speechless and nervous as he was, feeling the blush on her cheeks deepening with the rush of blood.
It didn´t take long for them to realize what the other was. But they were so curious about each other that neither wanted to put an end to it.

I could see every date they had, every word they exchanged, every feeling they shared. It was like somewhere in my memory all those stories were told, or lived. They were so real. Maya was still babling the story, but I really didn´t need to hear anymore, I knew what happened next...

Leo and Sam were sitting together at the edge of the river that divided their frontier, lost in each others arms, when a capitan from one of the wolves troops came quietly through the woods. He saw them together and could´t believe it. If the humans and elves got their forces together they would be unstopable. So he came up with a plan. He went up to the humans with two of his best soldiers and asked for a meeting with their capitain. He told the capitain of the human troops that one of his men was being fooled by the elves. They were using enchantments to make the soldier fall in love with one of their own, and using this to get information about the humans war plans and strategy.
It didn´t take long for the humans to came up with a plan against the elves again. They would attack when the elves were not expecting them to. And while the humans made their plan against the elves, the Wolves Capitain went to the elves camp to speak with their leader and told them that the humans were conpirating against them, and planning to attack really soon. In fact, they had even a human infiltraded, using it's magic to control that human and learn how to possess a human body and take away its soul.

A war ignited then. Both races in full power, so many lives were lost at what cost? It was a hard memory and such a strong one.
Leo and Sam had to run away, neither believed in what their own races were planning, and all both the races knew was that someone there might be a traitor. So through the woods, facing wintery days and the coldest nights, they started their path, their fight to survive and save each other, because one couldn't live without the other.
